THE BRITISH BUSINESS CLUB HIKING CLUB PRESENTS:
The third British Business Club Hike will take place on Saturday 9 July
By request from participants on previous hikes, we will walk a little further this time, just
under 10 km. The route is flat and on mostly firm paths (unless it has rained heavily in the
preceding days so please wear appropriate footwear just in case) or paved walkways.
Starting Point and Walk:Starting from Sankt Pankratious Church, Glehn, a small village
20 km from the centre of Düsseldorf. Glehn is the next village beyond the Ski-Halle at
Neuss, which most people will know. The circular route includes Schloß Liedberg and
Schloß Dyck, where we can stop for refreshments: there is a cafe there, or feel free to
bring your own refreshments with you. The walk with a 30 minute lunch break will take
about 3 hours so we aim to return to the starting point by about 15.00.
Time:We will meet at 12.00.Please contact me on 0171 767 7996 if you are delayed and
we will wait for you, otherwise we will start walking around 12.10
Parking and Public Transport:There is a car park by the church but if this is full you will
need to find a space somewhere in neighbouring streets or Bus nr. 864 from the
Landestheater in Neuss, get off at ‘ Glehn Kirche’.
Our previous two hikes were extremely enjoyable so, with good weather, we hope this will
be too. I look forward to you being able to join us
