This should be an interesting evening with Malcolm. Malcolm Scott worked in the UK´s Department of Trade and Industry and its subsequent guises from 1987 to 2014. Between 1997 and  2009 he worked mainly on civil aerospace issues, including negotiating major government support packages to Airbus, Bombardier and Rolls-Royce for product development. In 2014 he joined the Aerospace Technology Institute, which directs UK government support for aerospace research and development. Between 2009 and 2013 he served as UK Consul-General in Düsseldorf. He retired in 2022.
