Christian Engelmann

Born in Hessen, Germany, my parents moved the family to the UK in 1964, where I remained and “grew up” like any other Brit.

School followed some work and university,  I moved back to Germany in August ´88 to run a German subsidiary of a British lighting company from a small office in Mettmann.

It was then when I met and joined the BBCD in 1989 mainly through squash and have been one of the regular squashers since.

Today, still in lighting with a strong link to the UK – my business is located in Ratingen and we export of over 40 countries around the world.

My hobbies include classic cars and sailing.
